Raising intercultural awareness in Colombian Classrooms: A descriptive review

The study of intercultural communication in foreign language teaching opens up opportunities for interaction with new and cultural practices, thereby making learning a more meaningful process. Given the growth publications about Colombian context, this article aims to systematize analyze research that fosters awareness through strategic pedagogical planning. To achieve goal, I related development context between 2012 2019. Specifically, explore population benefited, specific topics concern educators, types studies conducted, major trends results articles, gaps considerations future research.
